I find myself in a struggle of hearts

between the one I am with and the one that’s apart

The one’s whose affection and love has grown cold

To the one that I care for and know I can’t hold

 

I find myself in a struggle of hearts

From a journey familiar or a future to start

Is the woman whose pathway I crossed all I need

Is the reason a soulmate or just simply a dream

 

For the years of the journey have taken their toll

For the one I am with made the pathway her own

As the pathway divided in two

Will the dreams you are dreaming coincide with my own
